As you might have expected, the second Fast Ring build of the week was released today.
After seeing Windows 10 (19H1) Build 18356 just three days ago, now we have Build 18358 to wrap up the week. These two Fast Ring builds were joined by a Windows 10 (20H1) Skip Ahead ring build yesterday.
Build 18358 has the normal collection of bug fixes and a few known issues plus it introduces a new Windows Defender Application Guard extension for Chrome and Firefox browsers.
In order to use the extensions you will need to take three steps:
- Turn on Windows Defender Application Guard (WDAG) in the legacy Control Panel’s Windows Features applet
- Download and install the extension
- Download and install the WDAG Companion App from the Microsoft Store
Instructions and links for all of the items above are on the release notes page for Build 18358.
Regular readers know that I have been tracking the usage pattern of the Reserved Storage feature that was added to Windows 10 (19H1) late last year. Since I am on the road this week, I am unable to update all my Fast Ring devices to complete update that tracking data, so that will continue once I am back at home base.
