Microsoft has now officially announced their plans for the release of Windows 11 to begin its public general availability next month and changes have been made in the #DevChannel recently to begin testing future versions of Windows 11.
The month of August for #WindowsInsiders was full of Windows 11 pre-release builds in both the #DevChannel and #BetaChannel. Plenty of enhancements were made available and a multitude of bugs were sorted out. Windows 10 continued to see pre-release cumulative updates tested in the #ReleasePreviewChannel as well. Overall, it was a good first full month of Windows 11 updates for testers in multiple release channels.
July was the first full month with releases for the upcoming Windows 11 update in the Windows Insider #DevChannel. Later in the month, Microsoft pushed the first pre-release build into the #BetaChannel to begin testing up until the OS updates release later this year. We get you all caught up in the happenings across all three development channels in this monthly update.
