Observed Tech PODCAST Episode 258 #OTP

Welcome to episode 258 of Observed Tech. This week I share my initial impressions of the Surface Book 2 which arrived earlier this week for my hands on experience. I include a few comparisons to the OG Surface Book that I have been using for the last three years. Then we get to talk about Qualcomm, Microsoft, and Always Connected PCs that will be in consumers hands very soon beginning with the HP Envy x2 that may ship in about two weeks. Of course, we update the progress of Windows 10 Redstone 4 as Microsoft focuses on stabilizing the fifth feature update for release in March/April and then its follow on development branch – Redstone 5 – which will be the sixth feature update for Windows 10. That is expected to land in the September/October time frame. We then dive into news items about Andromeda, Microsoft Edge, Progressive Web Apps (PWAs), and Bill Gates being a guest star on the Big Bang Theory in March. Of course, there are other news headlines throughout the show so be sure to listen all the way until the end and not miss anything. As always enjoy the show and thanks again for listening!
