Welcome to Episode 297 of Observed Tech.

It was a busy week and we start off by talking about the end of support for Windows 10 Mobile and Windows 7 which is in December 2019 and January 2020 respectively. Of course, since they are so popular the reaction has been pretty intense on social media.

We had a new build in the Windows Insider program and it continues the trend over the last few builds of just tweaking the UI and putting some finishing touches on the next feature update which is expected in the March/April 2019 time frame.

Of course, we have all kinds of other news related to Microsoft, apps, services, gaming, Office Insiders updates, and the expected announcement of HoloLens 2 at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next month.
