A milestone of sorts was reached with the latest fast ring build for the upcoming April 2019 update as the desktop watermark that has been visible on all previous builds is no longer in place. Just one more step towards the release of this seventh feature update for Windows 10.

Another week wraps up with a total of three new builds released to Windows Insiders across the Fast and Skip Ahead Rings. The week closed out with a second Fast Ring build and we have the latest tracking data for Reserved Storage.

As the end of development quickly approaches for Windows 10 (19H1), the fixes heading into those final builds are also making their way into weekly releases in the Windows 10 (20H1) Skip Ahead development branch. This week we have already had releases from each ring and in the first six days of March there have been a total of four across both branches.

A familiar pattern is starting to settle in for Windows Insiders as the final work is being accomplished for the next Windows 10 feature update. That update, known by its code name of 19H1 in development, is expected to be finalized later this month and released next month as the April 2019 Update.
