Welcome to Episode 5 of the Faith, Tech, and Space PODCAST.
In this show I share where our cohort is in our studies in formation including discussing the seven sacraments of the Catholic Church which is a primary area of study this semester. After that, I jump into tech related updates about the #WindowsInsider and #EdgeInsider programs to being everyone up to speed on the latest builds and what is coming down the road for these two preview offerings.
Also in the tech discussion is the big news of our first look at Windows 10X as Microsoft provided insight into dual-screen development and other tools for the Surface Neo. The unveiling of Windows 10X is a big deal for the future of Windows and not just Windows 10.
On the space front, plenty of news around SpaceX, Boeing, and NASA including Christine Koch’s return to Earth after 328 days in space. Her mission set a new record for the longest spaceflight by a woman. While SpaceX is on the verge of launching the first astronauts from U.S. soil for the first time since 2011, Boeing has had some additional setbacks with their Starliner spacecraft after their shortened Orbital Flight Test a few months ago.
Finally, I wrap up things talking about digital civility or more specifically the lack of civility in online forums and social media.
So thanks for tuning in and giving a listen to Faith, Tech, and Space as we begin this unique journey.
Blessings.
