Update: Microsoft explains why the Nokia Lumia 635 was removed from its store, blames inaccurate info via @WinBetaDotOrg
The Microsoft Store announced in a text message to customers this morning that this new handset is now available for pre-order from the Microsoft Store website.
This handset will come pre-loaded with Windows Phone 8.1 which is already being tested by thousands through the Microsoft Developer Preview on current Windows Phone devices.
That means you immediately have access to Cortana the new digital personal assistant that is integrated into Windows Phone 8.1 as well as many other new features.
The other device specs for both the AT&T and the T-Mobile versions of the Nokia Lumia 635:
- Quad-core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor
- 512MB of RAM
- 8GB of storage
- Wireless charging with the included Qi based battery
- LTE capable
- 4.5 inch display at 854 x 480 resolution (FWVGA)
- 24-bit/16M colors, 221ppi, 16:9 aspect ratio, Nokia ClearBlack Technology and Corning Gorilla Glass 3
- 5MP autofocus and 4x digital zoom main camera
- 720 pixels, video streaming, video playback, video zoom and continuous autofocus video camera
- Audio playback of 3G2, 3GP, MP4, WMV, AVI, M4V and MOV file formats
- Weighs 4.73 ounces
The non-contract price is $99 for AT&T and $129 for T-Mobile.
