Microsoft Gadgets Gallery Goes Gone

Our friends over at Liveside reported today that the Gadget Gallery for Windows is no more.  If you browse to that old address at http://gallery.live.com you are going to be greeted with a message from Microsoft that talks about why it is gone:

New Live Search Homepage Revealed

Update to Windows Live Mesh Released

The Windows Live Mesh team announced in their blog today that they are releasing the latest build for this Tech Preview.

We are making Live Mesh available to more people and we’ve greatly streamlined the sign-up process. We’ve also made a number of general performance improvements.

Windows Live Mesh for Everyone!

Just two days ago I posted about the latest update to this file sharing software and now today the announcement is made that anyone and everyone with a Windows Live ID can download and use this program (some restrictions apply – capacity is limited to start with).

Windows Live Mesh Update Released

According to the Windows Live Mesh Blog – build 0.9.3103.2 has been propagated to the Live Mesh servers and is now available to all users.  I in fact got my update today when I came home from work:
