Microsoft has implemented the new channel structure for Windows Insiders by pushing a back-end update that changes the familiar Fast, Slow, and Release Preview Rings to the new channel structure of Dev, Beta, and Release Preview.
The Windows team at Microsoft has decided to better align their testing structure with other Insider Programs at Microsoft by shifting from the familiar rings to a channel format. The company indicates these new channel designators will better indicate the style and quality of releases for the development of Windows in this new arrangement.

Microsoft is quickly heading towards a final release for the next major feature update of Windows 10 with the release of Build 19033 to both the Fast and Slow Rings for Windows Insiders. Windows 10 (20H1) also has its official designation as of this release.
