Skype Insiders are getting to test a much requested feature in the Microsoft Store version of the app.

Earlier this week the @SkypeInsider Twitter account revealed that Split View is now available for Insiders to test on their systems.

This new option allows users to have a vertical window with their list of contacts visible then, when they click on any active chat, a separate window will open up for that conversation. This gives users flexibility in how they approach their Skype chats and have a much smaller UI overall.

You can join the Skype Insider Program and download the latest testing builds to try out this and other new features ahead of their release.
