Welcome to Episode 286 of Observed Tech.
In this week’s show we catch up on the Windows 10 19H1 development cycle as it begins its stint as the only show in town and it is beginning to show some indicators of where this seventh feature update might be heading. Plus we cover where things stand when it comes to the October 2018 Update. It looks like testing is going to wrap up soon and it should be re-released to seekers shortly.
This past week embargoed reviews landed online for the new Surface Pro 6 and Surface Laptop 2 as those devices hit retail channels. We have some links to those along with a new Blush model which was announced in China this week.
There are also new apps, app features, and other hardware that were announced/shared this past week including further integration of Microsoft To-Do into other inbox apps on Windows 10.
Of course there are other tidbits sprinkled throughout the show including Cortana’s 3.0 beta on Android and iOS, Microsoft’s continued anti-hacking and anti-piracy efforts, and the latest with the next update for Xbox Insiders. Be sure to listen all the way until the end so you get all the headlines.
As always enjoy the show and thanks again for listening!
