Welcome to Episode 276 of Observed Tech.

This week Insidering picked up its pace with the release of not one but two fast ring builds for Windows Insiders. We also finally got to try out the Your Phone app that was announced for Windows 10 back at Build 2018 in Seattle this past May. The timing and availability of its release gives us a couple of clues about when Microsoft might be targeting its ultimate release. Of course, we will discuss this in the show.

In addition to two desktop testing builds being made available, Microsoft also released new builds for the Windows 10 RS5 SDK and Windows Server 2019 testing programs. Alongside of all this activity, we finally have the latest RS5 slow ring build ISO available for download.

A big chunk of this week’s show is spent discussing the retail availability of Microsoft Surface Go and the flood of reviews that came out this past Thursday. Sentiments are quite mixed on the devices capabilities but it no doubt carries many of the identifying features that make it a Surface.

We of course have other news items including some stuff from Xbox, Apple, Google and one of my favorite subject areas – NASA. So be sure you listen all the way to the end so nothing is missed.

As always enjoy the show and thanks again for listening!
