Welcome to Episode 181 of Observed Tech which has been recorded on the 74th anniversary of the attacks on Pearl Harbor so please take some time to read about that historic day.
In this how I talk about Microsoft and how they have embraced feedback as they develop Windows and other major software and services, the release of a new Windows 10 Mobile build that will finally be made available to the Lumia 550, 950 and 950 XL handsets and some of the news from Microsoft’s annual shareholder meeting that was held last week.
Other areas that are discussed include HoloLens and its progress including two of the devices finally making it into space on their way to the International Space Station, Black Friday stats and understanding where Microsoft stands on hardware and software updates for their software and services.
Along the way the show is sprinkled with items like using an Xbox One Kinect to sign into Windows 10 using facial recognition, improving the Windows 10 upgrade experience, Skype updates for business and consumers, AT&T charging more for grandfathered unlimited plans and predictions for 2016 from Microsoft Research.
