Taking a look back at a few of the things that caught our eye this past week.

Important information regarding your owned Xbox Video content (Microsoft) – Some expected but most likely not welcomed news for those still using the Zune PC client, Zune devices and Windows Phone 7.  The notice from Microsoft states that in late February of next year, as an update to the Xbox video catalog occurs, content purchased from the service will no longer play on the Zune PC software, Zunes or on Windows Phone 7.  They do state that the content will be playable at XboxVideo.com, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Windows 8/8.1 PC or tablet and on Windows Phone 8. Time to move on folks whether you were ready to or not. So how long until this happens to music content?
