Yesterday was the launch of the latest addition to the Call of Duty series – Ghosts. Alongside of that launch Microsoft has also announced the release of a Windows Phone app that keeps you connected to the game as well as game related news items.
Here are the apps capabilities according to the Windows Phone Store description:
- Compete in Call of Duty Clan Wars
- Battle for territory against multiple Clans of similar skill, and earn exclusive in-game bonuses by dominating your opponents.
- Create or Join a Call of Duty: Ghosts Clan
- Join, create and manage a Call of Duty: Ghosts Clan from the app. Communicate with Clan Members via the app’s Clan Chat feature to coordinate playtimes and gameplay strategies.
- Experience Call of Duty: Ghosts On the Go
- Stay up to date with all the latest Call of Duty® news and events and track your career stats.
The description also indicates that Second Screen support is coming soon and Call of Duty Clan Wars will start up later this month.
