According to the Microsoft Security Tech Center advance notice published earlier today there are 10 bulletins being address in next weeks May 2013 Patch Tuesday update.

They include two updates labeled critical and eight considered important and the impacted software includes:

  • Windows 8 (x86 and x64)
  • Windows RT

Internet Explorer

  • IE6

  • IE8
  • IE9
  • IE10

Windows Server

  • Windows Server 2003 with SP2 (x86, x64 and Itanium)
  • Windows Server 2008 with SP2 (x86, X64 and Itanium)
  • Windows Server 2008 R2 with SP1 (x64 and Itanium)
  • Windows Server 2012

Office

  • Office 2003 with SP3
  • Office 2007 with SP3
  • Office 2010 with SP1 (x86 and X64)
  • Word Viewer
  • Visio 2003 with SP3
  • Visio 2007 with SP3
  • Visio 2010 with SP1 (x86 and x64)
  • Communicator 2007 R2
  • Lync 2010 (x86 and x64)
  • Lync 2010 Attendee (admin and user level installs)
  • Lync Server 2013

Windows Essentials

  • Windows Essentials 2011 and 2012
