In amongst the pictures we posted the other day for our Space Shuttle Endeavour LA Move theme was one that was quite popular on social media during the move.

Well see that very cool SHUTTLE XING sign in the foreground? It was designed by Traffic Management, a company who makes all kinds of road signs, and is now being offered for sale on their website as a novelty sign..

If you visit the Traffic Management Novelty Sign page you will see the entire list of sizes they have available for immediate ordering. Just a word of caution though concerning shipping. A fellow Space Geek purchased the 12 inch x 12 inch sign and shipping cost just more than the sign itself did ($25 for the sign and $27.95 for the shipping).
They are metal signs built from aluminum and have a reflective surface as well so the weight, and likely the method they are offering. is probably what is impacting that shipping cost.
I think there will still be a lot of folks who will throw caution to the wind on this and get it was a keepsake of a very historical event that will never be repeated.
I do hope Traffic Management is donating part of the proceeds from selling this sign to the California Science Center to help support the display of ENDEAVOUR to everyone. That would certainly be a nice touch.
I have contacted the company to ask them if that is happening and I will let you know what I find out.
