As I was browsing through the latest apps to be added to the Windows Store I came across this one from Cyberlink Corp which brings PowerDVD to your Windows 8 machine. This is a pretty popular piece of desktop software which is already available on iOS and Android so it is good to see a Windows 8 version as well.

Enjoying multimedia on-the-go has never been so easy. PowerDVD Mobile brings the award-winning features of CyberLink PowerDVD to your mobile device so that you can watch movies, view photos, and listen to music in the best quality, wherever you are!

It is really great to continue to see big developers bring their products to the Windows Store.  With General Availability still over a month away the store is definitely adding a lot of apps and at a very good pace. The app costs $14.99 but does have a trial version.  On its first day in the store it has garnered 3 ratings for 4.5 stars.
