This is a great way to see how technology has impacted gifts over the years. Of course as you might imagine early on electronics and such were not even available and simple things like board games, a slinky and Silly Putty could occupy kids for hours. As we moved through the years and with the advent of small electronic circuits and boards we see the first real electronic game Pong and that occupied us for hours on end as well.
Today we have MP3 players, gaming consoles and computers to add even more activity into our gaming and I think many times it would be nice just to have a slinky to play with!
