The UFC app for Xbox 360 was scheduled to be pushed out on Xbox Live today. However it has been slightly delayed until December 20th.
The app provides access to videos on demand, live event videos, and an interactive fight card where you can predict winners and compete with friends. The App will also allow Xbox 360 owners to order UFC pay-per-views directly through the system which was traditionally done via cable subscription.
The app will include things like Countdown shows, press conferences, weigh-ins, previews of upcoming events, interviews, and more offered in high definition. It will be available free to all Xbox Live Gold members. Pay-per-views will be purchased with a credit card attached to the Xbox Live account.
Interactive Fight Card with Fight Picks – Size up the fighters with the tale of the tape, and view their past fight results. Make your Fight Picks, predict specific fight outcomes, and compete with your friends. And with the live leaderboard and leaderboard alerts tracking the results, you will always know where you stand.
