So here we are with another edition of What’s On Your Windows Phone 7? and our featured Windows Phone 7 user for this edition is one of my Twitter followers Romit Mehta (@RawMeet). You can find regular posts from him on his Posterous site, which is where he posts when he needs to discuss something in more than 140 characters.
He describes himself as a Windows Phone enthusiast and I would have to say I agree with him – and so will you – when you see how many apps he has installed on his Windows Phone handset. His WP7 handset of choice is the Samsung Focus and he picked that one because of the screen size/clarity and wanting to stay with AT&T whose service he has been very happy with. I would have to agree on that one as I am very pleased with my AT&T service over the last 7 years!
Romit is a ex-iPhone owner and moved to the Windows Phone 7 platform because he really liked the concept of aggregation which he feels results in efficiencies. He also said the Metro UI looked great in the pictures and videos he saw and the WP7 platform seemed promising.
So on to the list of his installed apps – all 84 of them!
When asked why so many apps Romit said that he wanted to try new apps in specific categories and to encourage developers.
What a great collection of apps. Many thanks to Romit for sharing his list of apps with us.
