We all know that Twitter has seen massive growth in since it came on the scene in 2006 but I have some graphics to share with you from sysomos that show the change in the engagement over the last year on the site.

As you can see more people are adding personal information into their Twitter profiles such as website addresses, full names and bios. users also have more followers than ever before.
To me that indicates a bigger investment in the social network than has existed or that could also mean more spammers are creating accounts and adding all this information to get found in the search engines.
We may never know the real reason for the growth but it is definitely growing.
