Well its true, the game industry has seen amazing success even among the worst of our economy, but this past April even the game industry felt a hit.

The good news is the economy seems to be on a rebound and E3 is just around the corner which will be sure to have amazing announcements for all 3 consoles and the holiday season is near.  So here are the NPD numbers for consoles sold for April 2010.

-DS: 441K260K (-37%)
-Wii: 277K 281K (-50%)
-360: 185K 153K (-45%)
-PS3: 181K 133K (-42%)
-PSP: 66K 54K (-44%)
