Infinity Ward has released title update number eight for Modern Warfare 3 on Xbox Live, introducing a range of tweaks and performance improvements.

These include improvements to host disadvantage / lag compensation, theatre fixes, increased speed of YouTube uploads from 32k to 256k, reduced fire rate for all Akimbo weapons, shotgun rebalancing and a fix to an issue that prevented some users from receiving the prestige token after prestiging.

This update will also be released to other platform’s like PS3, but are still in certification.
