Google officially welcomed back in businesses, personalities and other brands into Google Plus with the official debut of brand pages for the service. You might recall that these type of pages were not allowed when Google Plus first came online. In fact, Google actively eliminated any activity to create these portals.
However, the debut is here and to kick start the return of Pages they had several Plus Pages ready to go from some major players including:
- All American Rejects
- Anderson Cooper 360
- Angry Birds
- Barcelona Football Club
- Burberry
- Dallas Cowboys
- Fox News
- Good Morning America
- H&M
- Macy’s
- Modelland
- The Muppets
- Pepsi
- Phoenix Suns
- Save the Children
- Toyota
- Train
- WWE
- X Games
- Zen Bikes
So I did what any decent geek would do and try to start the page for WindowsObserver.com but it seems this is not a full scale roll out for now:
Apparently there is a list of accounts that can create pages during these baby steps. Amongst the list of well know tech heavy hitters apparently left off that list is Leo Laporte from TwiT.
Do any of you have access to create pages?
