Welcome to Episode 13 of the Faith, Tech, and Space PODCAST.

I really like this weekly pace – must keep it rolling! This weeks show kicks off with a discussion around my upcoming PC build and the key parts I am using for this upgrade. In the faith area, catch up on the close out of my first year of formation as an aspirant, the purchase of my first vestments (an alb and cincture), and some details on classes for this fall.

For #WindowsInsiders and #EdgeInsiders we catch up on the latest builds across all the development channels and some Windows 10 specific news including the FBI’s notice to users of Windows 7 to upgrade. I share a new article about whether cheap Windows 10 keys are legit and a new article coming up in a newsletter about my DNS Black Hole experience with Pi-Hole and AdGuard Home.

For #EdgeInsider we share the teams clarity on a crashing/restart bug, the latest #DevChannel release, and what we are seeing in development including tab previews and vertical tabs.

Other headlines include the tit-for-tat between Microsoft and Apple about Project xCloud not being in the iOS App Store, the continued drama around TiTok’s U.S. based acquisition, and a big Windows division re-organization under Panos Panay. I also share about Apple’s latest iMac update, Troy Hunt open sourcing his Have I Been Pwned project, Flight Simulator 2020 reviews, a Halo Infinite Update, Xbox Game Pass branding changes, and the upcoming release of Project xCloud in September.

Finally in space we talk about the return of SpaceX’s Crew Dragon from the DM2 mission, Artemis progress for NASA, Virgin Orbit’s plans for launching satellites, and Astra’s tough week in Alaska trying to launch a rocket.

I close with a cool GoPro in a car tire video link and how Lucille Ball helped Star Trek: The Original Series become an icon.

Thanks for tuning in and giving a listen to Faith, Tech, and Space as we continue this unique journey.

Blessings.
