Welcome to Episode 289 of Observed Tech.

This week we kick off with the latest in the Windows Insider Program with the release of Build 18277 for Windows 10 19H1. I share some thoughts on the tweaks we are seeing and what I think might be Microsoft’s direction with this new feature update.

We are also another week without any updates about the re-release of the October 2018 Update and the blogosphere this week spent time commenting on the lack of communications from Microsoft on this updates release. Not an unfamiliar place for those of us who follow the Redmond company and Windows 10 development but something that needs to change, Otherwise, regaining users trust is going to be a long challenging process.

Of course, we have app update news, a ton of Xbox related announcements after XO18 this week in Europe including several new additions to Xbox Game Pass, plus we talk about Samsung showing off their first Foldables phone and the updates Google is making to Android to support the new form factor.

There are lots of other tidbits scattered throughout the show like any other episode so be sure to listen until the very end to catch everything.

As always enjoy the show and thanks again for listening!
