Welcome to Episode 279 of Observed Tech.
In this week’s show we begin with a stroll down memory lane to about 23 years ago when Windows 95 was released to the public. It corresponds with the early beginnings of this very website and where I am today, so I do a little reminiscing.
Then we talk about Windows Insidering with new Redstone 5 Fast Ring Builds, two of them this week once again, as we get closer to the public release of what is expected to be called the October 2018 Update.
Next we dive into various inbox app updates, deadlines for new apps and app updates for Windows Phone and Windows 8.1 and the merging of Office 365 and Microsoft 365 Roadmaps as we get closer to Ignite next month in Orlando.
There is also a lot of Xbox related news including new hardware bundles, controller designs, the 1.0 release pf PUBG on console from the Game Preview Program. I also share some info about the rumored Xbox All Access service that hit tech sites this week.
Of course, those are just snapshots into the content in this weeks show so be sure to listen all the way until the end for all the details.
As always enjoy the show and thanks again for listening!
