Finally, the Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse is coming out in a Bluetooth version!
The Arc Touch mouse is my favorite mouse and I currently use it on my main desktop running Windows 8.1 and I use it over on my podcasting machine which has Windows 7 on it.
I searched high and low for the right mouse, especially for one that worked well ergonomically , and the Arc Touch was it. It does not appear very ergonomic with its simple design but it fits me perfectly and I no longer suffer from pain in my wrist with long term use.
It was a touch based scroll wheel, thus the touch reference in its name, and it folds flat for easy travel as needed.
The version of the Arc Touch Mouse I have on my systems uses a USB micro-transceiver to connect to the computer which means it also works on my Surface 2 however, you end up with a protruding transceiver from the USB port on the device. Plus it takes up the one and only USB port you have on Surface.
I am currently using the Microsoft Sculpt Touch mouse on my Surface 2 since it is Bluetooth and it has worked well but I have long wanted to use the Arc Touch mouse on that device as well. That time has finally arrived.
