I shared this tip on Twitter but wanted to post it here for posterity and the search engines (Hello Bing – Hello Google) because it is quite handy.

If you pin the Control Panel icon to the taskbar in Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 and then Right-Click on that icon you will get a nice Context Menu with a Jump List that highlights the last 10 Control Panel applets you accessed on your system.

Now here is a bonus that I did not share on Twitter so this is exclusively for those of you who read this on the site.

Just hover your mouse over the items in your Jump List and a pin icon will appear out to the right of the entry. Click that to pin that applet to your Jump List and have it always available.
