The monthly effort to address security related vulnerabilities in Microsoft software continues in March of 2013 with the advance notice of what to expect next week on Patch Tuesday.
According to the Microsoft Security TechCenter in their advance notification for these updates will include seven bulletins which patch four Critical and three Important vulnerabilities.
Systems that are affected by these updates to IE6, IE7, IE8, IE9 and IE10 include:
- Windows XP Service Pack 3
- Windows XP Professional x64 with Service Pack 2
- Windows Vista with Service Pack 2
- Windows Vista x64 with Service Pack 2
- Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 2
- Windows Server 2003 x64 with Service Pack 2
- Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 2 for Itanium-based systems
- Windows Server 2008 for 32-bit, 64-bit, and Itanium-based systems with Service Pack 2
- Windows Server 2008 R2 for x64 and Itanium-based systems
- Windows Server 2008 R2 for x64 and Itanium-based systems with Service Pack 1
- Windows Server 2012
- Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit
- Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit with Service Pack 1
- Windows 8 for 32 and 64 bit systems
- Windows RT
