If there is one area you must give Nokia some props in when it comes to their Lumia line of Windows Phone devices it is the exclusive apps and add-ons they build and curate for them.  Whether they are long term exclusives or just for a few weeks they really are a value added factor when deciding what Windows Phone hardware you should get as Travis mentioned in a recent Windows Phone App Flow post.

Well today Nokia has announced a new beta of their City Lens app that incorporates their new Livesight technology which provides the most precise and intuitive augmented reality experience and uses a phone’s camera viewfinder to make discovering the world as easy as lifting up a phone.

This beta release, version 1.5, is being made available just for Windows Phone 7.X users on Nokia Lumia 900, 800 and 710 handsets. Nokia promises in the post that this testing will be used to help finalize the City Lens app for Windows Phone 8 devices like the Nokia Lumia 820 and 920.
