I am very excited to confirm that Consumer Camp is coming to the Microsoft Store in Orlando, Florida this month.

For those who may not be familiar with Consumer Camp it is a broad-reaching education initiative designed to showcase Microsoft’s consumer-facing technologies in an educational and approachable manner.  The founder of Consumer Camps is my fellow Microsoft MVP Marques Lyons.

So let’s get started by sharing the details of the event:

  • Date: 19 November 2012
  • Time: 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM
  • Location: Microsoft Store at the Florida Mall in Orlando, Florida
  • Topic: Your world with Windows 8. Come learn about what’s new in Windows 8 and Windows RT, such as the new Start screen, Windows Store, customization options, navigation with touch or a mouse and keyboard, and much more! We’ll also give you a look at the benefits provided by Outlook.com.
  • RSVP: Let us know you are attending by visiting the Consumer Camp Orlando Event Page on Facebook.

I will be presenting this event thanks to the sponsorship of the Microsoft Store Orlando and Outlook.com.

Everyone in attendance will have an opportunity to enter for a giveaway at the end of Consumer Camp season for one of two computers from our sponsors.  I am sure there will be a few other giveaways at the event itself.

You can follow news about Consumer Camp on their Twitter account – @ConsumerCamp.
