Jen Scheer (aka @flyingjenny on Twitter) has given me permission to share the photos she took yesterday from Cocoa Beach during Discovery’s flyby over the Space Coast before she headed up to Washington, DC.
Jen is an awesome photographer and already has three other themes available on our site for download that consists of sunrise and sunset photos she has taken. They are very popular having been downloaded over 1,500 times between all three of them.

Now to this new theme that shows Discovery mated to the Shuttle Carrier Aircraft (SCA) as they performed a North to South and then a South to North flyby over the beaches near Cape Canaveral. The top two rows of photos are the same two images but with their enhanced copy on the right which Jen worked on in Photoshop. They really are stunning pictures aren’t they?
