Smoking Windows Phone Updates Batman – that was fast!
Nokia has announced the immediate availability of the memory management update for the Nokia Lumia 900 handsets a full three days ahead of their intended release date of 16 April 2012.
It was just three days ago that the data bug was confirmed by Nokia and they announced that a fix would be out on 16 April 2012. In addition to that they also informed all customers who had already purchased or would purchase the new handset by 21 April 20120 that they would receive a $100 credit on their AT&T bill.
The update took less than 15 minutes from start to finish on my Nokia Lumia 900.
Now that is how you get an update out!
