For the last time this year, the Microsoft Security Response Center (MSRC) has provided the advance notice concerning next weeks Patch Tuesday security related updates for Microsoft software.

The updates for next week are spread across 14 different bulletins and have three updates that are labeled Critical and 11 marked Important.  The software which these are for include Windows, Office and Internet Explorer.

The breakdown of the software versions which will be updated Tuesday:

  • Windows XP with SP3
  • Windows XP Professional X64 with SP2
  • Windows Vista with SP2
  • Windows Vista x64 with SP2
  • Windows 7 (x86 and x64)
  • Windows 7 (x86 and x64) with SP1
  • Windows Server 2003 with SP2
  • Windows Server 2003 x64 with SP2
  • Windows Server 2003 with SP2 for Itanium-based systems
  • Windows Server 2008 (x86 and x64) with SP2
  • Windows Server 2008 with SP2 for Itanium-based systems
  • Windows Server 2008 R2 (x64)
  • Windows Server 2008 R2 (x64) with SP1
  • Windows Server 2008 R2 for Itanium-based systems
  • Windows Server 2008 R2 for Itanium-based systems with SP1
