NASA scientists have taken to YouTube to reassure the world that tonight’s Super Moon, which will appear 14% larger than normal, will not cause any major disasters or concerns.
The moon will appear larger tonight because it is actually closer to the Earth than it normally is at its perigee, which is its normal closest approach to the Earth during its orbit.
So go ahead and remove the tin foil hats and enjoy the spectacle of the moon in your night sky tonight. If you take any great photos please post links to them below!
