I am very pleased to welcome Karin Gerber to the site as a regular contributor.  It is nice to once again have someone to help out here and I think with Karin’s background she is going to have a wealth of stuff to share with us all.

She has a bachelors degree in Communications and has worked with computers for over 15 years.  She has worked at companies like American Home Products (Wyeth), ADP and AT&T doing computer technical support.

She currently runs HelpTech Solutions with Julio Morell and when she has spare time it is typically used working on or building computers.  Her hobby is taking photographs and videos of thunderstorms.  She said her collection of video with some of these storms and the awesome lightening displays continues to grow.

She says to not be surprised when she grabs her camera and runs outside to stand in the face of a storm to get her shot.

Karin started off at the site contributing as a Guest Blogger just a few days ago and has already had these two popular pieces published at WindowsObserver.com:

She has a terrific insight into many technical subjects and will provide that unique perspective as she regularly posts here at the site.  You can follow her on Twitter at @CalicoHed

Stop by the comments and say hello when you get the chance.
