Right on schedule the 4th and final developers platform preview of IE9 has been released. I am impressed that the IE9 Team has stayed on course with the preview releases as they committed to back in MIX10 earlier this year.
This version includes 9 new tests to show off the capabilities of the browser and also continues to provide those demos that were released with the first three platform previews.
As you might imagine there is a lot being said about this final preview release:
- HTML5, Modernized: Fourth IE9 Platform Preview Available for Developers
- IE9 Train Reaches Platform Preview 4
- Blog Post: IE9 Platform Preview 4 Available Now
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 Preview 4 in the wings?

It also looks like the IE9 Beta, with a user interface, will be out in September:
You can grab this last platform preview from the IE9 Test Drive website or the Microsoft Download Center.
