Earlier today I wrote about the end of Microsoft Points which was the first evidence we had of the release of the latest Xbox 360 Dashboard update that has been in beta for the last several weeks.
Now Xbox Live’s Major Nelson, aka Larry Hryb, has confirmed on his blog that the Spring/Fall 2013 Dashboard update is live and one of the major features of the update is the move from Microsoft Points to your local currency.
If you are hoping to boot up the newly refreshed dashboard and see a significant change in how things look then you will be disappointed as the dashboard functions in pretty much the same way it did before.
One thing you will notice visually is the shift from the familiar neon green of the Xbox 360 to the darker green you have seen associated with the upcoming Xbox One.
