Skype for Windows 8 Receives Another Update

The update machine is cranking them out in Redmond.

Just after posting about the Mail, Calendar, People and Messaging app update a few minutes ago and before I could download those updates on my Surface RT an update for Skype has popped up.

According to the update notes here is where the app has seen some changes/improvements:

  • Search people and groups
  • Call Messenger contacts
  • Improved video call performance
  • General bug fixes

I dislike those generic bug fixes comments but at least we know they are actively working on the app to make it better.

      That now makes two updates from yesterday that had the old notes in there. The other one was the Mail, Calendar, People and Messaging App.

      Both are from Microsoft.

    This is a fantastic update. I love how the app now supports Snap throughout the entire app. It’s much more usable now!
