TweetDeck Updated to Add Some Features Back

socialmedialogo

An update released for TweetDeck today brings back some of the missing functionality that disappeared when Twitter built its first version of TweetDeck after buying out the makers of the original and very popular TweetDeck.

That 1.0 version of TweetDeck irritated a lot of TweetDeck users who had become very accustomed to the flexibility and functionality of the original TweetDeck.

With this update, Version 1.3, things such as list management, interaction and activity columns, in program image and video previews and the option to either use the traditional retweet or an edited retweet may just make this version much more palatable to former TweetDeck users.

My friend Purav from PDTechHD has posted a great walkthrough video on YouTube to highlight these updates.

Are these new additions enough to have you return to TweetDeck for daily use?

Thanks for the updated video. It looks better than their 1st attempt. What is still missing though that most of us liked/used in the Tweetdeck prior to Twitter buying? I’m still running that old version with Adobe Air.
