Did you know there is a TechNet Blog called Antimalware Engine Notifications?
The primary purpose is to let everyone know when Microsoft’s Antimalware engine will get an update. Currently that engine is used in two products from Microsoft:
- Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) which is targeted at consumers.
- Forefront Client Security (FCS) which is intended for Enterprise customers.
Well if your running MSE or FCS expect a prompt sometime on the 15th of July that there is an update as Tony Kwan has recently posted on the Antimalware Engine Notifications blog.
I didn’t know about this blog until recently and it just proves that you never know what treasures and tidbits you will find in the MSDN and TechNet blog feeds.
