Microsoft Office 2010 Mobile Available For Free

Microsoft surprised quite a few people on Office 2010 Launch Day when they announced that the mobile version of Office 2010 would be made available for free to Windows Mobile 6.5 users.

Of course their generosity met with quite a few people being upset that it is only available for Windows Mobile 6.5 users and not those using earlier version of the mobile OS.

I have searched for a reason why it is only on Windows Mobile 6.5 phones but have come up empty. If you have heard something please let us know in the comments.
