Amazon’s New PayPhrase Checkout Process

Earlier this weekend I was placing an order on Amazon.com as I have many times before when I noticed a new dialog pop up on the post order screen.

It was prompting me to create a PayPhrase.

So I went and did a little research on Amazon.com and found the Amazon PayPhrase page explaining everything.

What is Amazon PayPhrase?

PayPhrase is an easy-to-remember shortcut to shipping and payment information in your Amazon.com account. Use it for Express Checkout at Amazon.com and across the web.

The PayPhrase service also allows you to set limits for each phrase so your kids can use it to do some shopping but not have the ability to spend unlimited amounts of money.

You can read and learn more at the Frequently Asked Questions page for the service.

Personally it looks pretty handy but I am not sure I would choose to use it at the moment.
