Windows Live Jumps into Social Media Big Time

windowslivelogo

I just received a notice via my Hotmail account that Windows Live now helps you connect to almost 30 social media websites so you can share your updates on these sites through your Windows Live What’s New Feed.

Included in the collection are some you are likely familiar with and others you may have never heard of – I know there are a few unfamiliar ones in there for me:

  • WordPress
  • flickr
  • last fm
  • Arto
  • Bilddagboken
  • Custom Blog
  • Daily Motion
  • Daum
  • digg
  • Flixster
  • Fotolog
  • Hyves
  • iLike
  • Livejournal
  • MClub
  • Metro Flog
  • MSN
  • overblog
  • Pandora
  • Photobucket
  • SmugMug
  • StumbleUpon
  • TripIt
  • Twitter
  • TypePad
  • Wow.ya.ru
  • Yelp
  • zune
  • Each of those links will take you to a page that allows you to enter a username or other data to connect to the updates from that service

So what do you think? Will you use it or not?
