Microsoft Office 2010 Site is Live at Microsoft.com

The long anticipated technical preview of Microsoft Office 2010 is getting closer to reality with the activation of the technical preview website at http://www.microsoft.com/office/2010/.

There is a link to sign up to be considered for the tech preview in the top right corner of the page – it takes less than 5 minutes to sign up. However, signing up is no guarantee of getting into the technical preview as evidenced by this message on the sign up page:

The Microsoft Office 2010 Technical Preview program is a limited, invitation only opportunity to experience early, pre-release versions of Office 2010 and Visio 2010.

Due to high demand, we cannot guarantee entry into this program, but we are currently accepting registrations for a waitlist.  By registering, you are signing up to be considered for the Technical Preview program and you will be notified within one to two months.

But hey – what can it hurt to sign up – never know if you might get in.

The only other significant info on this site is introduction videos to all the various Office programs:

The longest video is about 3 1/2 minutes.

I am most excited about Outlook since I live, eat and breath in it every day.  What program are you most looking forward to in Microsoft Office 2010?
