Update: #WindowsInsiders Testing Configuration – June 2020

With the recent release of Windows 10 (20H1) to the general public, Microsoft is resetting all of their development channels both with new builds and a new naming scheme as they prepare to begin development for Windows 10 (20H2) and the first feature update of 2021 aka 21H1 or Windows 10 (vNext). That means it is time to reconfigure my own #WindowsInsider testing device plan.

MVP Summit 2019 and Windows 10 (19H1) Insider Build Catchup

I started this week on the Microsoft Campus at the annual MVP Summit and at the same time it was a busy week of build releases for Windows Insiders as Microsoft gets even closer to the general availability of the seventh overall feature update for Windows 10. That update is expected in April and is codenamed 19H1. We wrap up the week worth of builds and what we should expect in the coming weeks.

Windows 10 Build 18334 Available for Fast and Skip Ahead Rings

Microsoft wrapped up this week by publishing a new build to both the Fast and Skip Ahead Rings for Windows Insiders to test out. The Windows 10 (19H1) Bug Bash wrapped up last weekend, so a lot of potential fixes might be addressed in this release. This is also the fifth consecutive build that we have usage information concerning the Windows Reserved Storage feature that was introduced late last year.
