Observed Tech PODCAST Episode 47

Welcome to Episode 47 of the Observed Tech PODCAST and our show this week is focused on the release of the Nokia Lumia 900 Windows Phone from AT&T. We start off talking about the pre-order experience, getting over some hurdles and the great customer service from AT&T, for me anyway, in the process from start to finish. We then discuss the reviews that came out this past week after the embargo lifted Tuesday night and the wide ranging nature of them including all of the same old arguments about the Windows Phone platform, app store and hardware specs. Then I share some thoughts about preparing for your new Windows Phone transition from either another Windows Phone or a different manufacturer including reinstalling apps, setting up email accounts and a way to add an additional layer of security to your handset. I spend a little time talking about the handset itself and my first impressions of it. Finally, I encourage all of you to talk about your new handset as the enthusiast crowd starts to post their impressions of the phone, both the hardware and the OS, to see what the everyday users think of it. As usual we wrap up with a look at the past week on WindowsObserver.com.
