Official Dropbox App Arrives for Windows 8

Yes it is the official Dropbox App – despite my confusion on Twitter this morning about it!

If you take a look at the reviews it is getting knocked around a bit because many see it as half baked and not ready for primetime.  As one person described it “it is just a file viewer”. However, overall it has just under 4 Stars after 31 ratings since it was released yesterday.

Still at least we know the developer is working on an app now and hopefully the updates will appear on a regular basis and fully integrate the accessibility of your Dropbox files with the Windows 8 OS.

That is certainly more than we can say for Facebook and Twitter at the moment.
